$56 (cart included), played on Saturday, May 2019 at 7:45 AM

My son got the first tee time at 7:30am for $60 so we could set the pace....so away we go.

First time playing here in this golfing community that covers the "Eagle & Hawk" layouts but not the Falcon. We're playing the Eagle 3,270yd and Falcon at 3,405yd / 71.9 / 134 on this Par 36/35 layout.

The Eagle layout is hilly and has some gorgeous homes tucked (tree sheltered) far enough away to keep them out of play. The #1 351yd Par 4 is one great view for the 100' elevated tee overlooking your new adventure. Sculptured and close cut fairways await your inpending arrival, with yardage blocks down the middle. The well protected firm greens are rolled each morning, and were hitting 10 on this moist morning. The landing areas are very fair (from the right tees) and the large pine trees are ready to drop your ball if you stray.....and you know where. We started on the "Eagle" course this morning and were chasing the mowers/rollers. The #2 is a 242yd - 132yd Par 3 with the green tucked right behind a pond, so choose your tee well. The #5 is a 442yd Par 4 with another green protected short by pond encompassing 3/4 of the green or don't miss right!! Number 7 329yd is another green protected by water front and right so miss long/left. The #8 is a short 417yd uphill Par 5 that is a 3 extra club 2nd shot to the full sand protected at the top of the hill. I was at the 200yd block and my son wouldn't me tee the ball up so I could use my driver to get 230yd carry, that I needed.

The "Falcon" course is next and it plays downhill to the lake area where its been rain soaked until this weekend. The #1 385yd Par 4 will be the only hole on this side that doesn't have water, coming into play. The #2 is a straight away 417yd Par 4 but having water down the whole left side, makes one nervous. #3 is a short 3676yd Par 4 but don't use that driver if you hit more than 220yds as that tight area squeezes in two traps and water to your 20yd landing zone. The #5 is another 416yd Par 4 that has a hidden river crossing at 240yds out that will ruin a good drive...I almost found out. The #7 is a 202yd - 126yd almost island green, having a "S" shaped river winding around it and woods to the righthand side. Finnishing up #9 being a uphill, soggy fairway 592yd Par 5, took its toll getting there. Not only long yardage, but the green is tipped towards the fairway with 3 putts written all over it.......and we did.

Jeremy ended up shooting 47/42 w/36 putts on his first outing and I had 39/41 w/34putts in 2hrs and 40 minutes.

Worth putting on your radar if you're in the area, with weekday rates a lot better than the $60 AM weekend we paid. No houses on the Falcon layout, just water, trees and can I say.......More Water. No suprises with the conditions here, just what you would should find on a course of this caliber.

Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Expensive and worth it, Best course in the area
